Lightning McQueen Card 55 finished with an official print run of 38,357. That total ranks third among the 24 finalized 2026 Formula 1 Topps NOW releases in PrintRun's September 24 tracker snapshot.
The release joined Formula 1's Monza weekend with the 20th anniversary of Disney and Pixar's Cars. It reached a much larger audience than most F1 releases without crossing Topps' first additional Chrome threshold.
A crossover built for a larger audience
Formula 1 and Disney used the 2026 Italian Grand Prix at Monza to celebrate 20 years of Cars. Lightning McQueen appeared in an updated Formula 1-inspired look, while the official safety car carried a special Cars livery.
The official print run cannot identify which audience placed each order. It does show that the crossover generated substantially more production than most finalized 2026 F1 cards in the current cohort.
Where 38,357 ranks in 2026 F1
PrintRun's September 24 snapshot contained 24 finalized 2026 Formula 1 Topps NOW releases. Only Lewis Hamilton Card 38 and Kimi Antonelli Card 57 finished higher.
The numbered foil ladder
Topps listed six standard numbered foil tiers containing 190 known parallels. Non-base hits replace base cards in an order, but the official print run alone does not establish the probability that any specific order received one.
- Green Foil /99
- Gold Foil /50
- Orange Foil /25
- Black Foil /10
- Red Foil /5
- One-of-one FoilFractor
Large, but below the Chrome threshold
Topps states that additional Chrome parallels unlock when a release reaches 50,000 copies. Card 55 finished 11,643 copies below that boundary, leaving the listed chase structure unchanged by the first Chrome unlock.
The result does not establish resale value, profit, or the number of unique buyers. It records production scale inside a defined 2026 F1 comparison cohort.
